Started the sixth draft of "the book" (aka the troublesome sci-fi novel which I have been working on in various incarnations for at least a decade), and am finally making some progress which I am happy with! I have done 10,000 words in two days, so I could have a novel-length work in a week's time and (hopefully) finally have my foot on the long road to becoming a published author...

Congratulations! I have been trying to write for some time. I can hammer out tons of full bodied short stories at a time but the novel eludes me. If you ever need ideas or help check out a youtube series of lectures from Brandon Sanderson. He talks about everything from prose, story type, and character developement to finding publishers, agents, the publish business model, and world building. The whole class is based specifically around sci-fi/fantasy writing.

Me and Allie just made epic Panini sammiches.
Lettuce, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Medium Cheddar, Mozzarella, Monterrey Jack, Bacon, turkey, Pork, Moose, Rabbit, Beef, chicken,scrambled eggs and Mayo.
With some homemade fries and Ice Cold bottles of Molson Canadian.
