History: As flood waters engulfed the land Rodger Wilcox was the leader of a crackpot religion and told his followers that the waters would spare them as the lord came to him in a dream and told him so.
In 2017 when the waters stopped rising and he was proven right his faithful followers started treating him like a true Messiah and anyone that dared to question his divinity was put to death instantly.
By 2018 the 10,000+ people that were stranded with Wilcox and his Zealots said they believed he was a Messiah out of fear for their own lives.
Wilcox named the new Nation Mercury after Mercury in Greek mythology calling himself the real Mercury (Messenger of God)
Wilcox ordered all boats, planes and helicopters destroyed so those on the island with him would have to stay, the only plane left on the island belong to Wilcox and he plans to use it to visit other places and convert others so all the worlds survivors can all see the light and worship him.
